At Alderbrook Care Home, our on-site hair salon and treatment room will offer residents the chance to enjoy a bit of pampering in a relaxed and friendly setting. Whether it’s a regular haircut, a fresh shave or a simple hand massage, these little routines help bring comfort, dignity and a sense of normality into everyday life.
Our salon and treatment room will be designed to feel calm, familiar and welcoming. Residents will be supported in maintaining their usual grooming routines, with appointments available for hairdressing, manicures, basic foot care, and other simple treatments. These sessions are not just about the service itself, but also about the friendly chat, shared laughter, and gentle, familiar rhythm that brings comfort to residents.
We work closely with each resident and their family to understand their preferences and routines. Loved ones are always welcome to be involved, whether helping to book a regular appointment or simply enjoying time together after a visit to the salon when it opens in August 2025.
Residents can enjoy a range of services including haircuts, styling, shaving, manicures, hand massages and simple foot care. These are all delivered in a calm and friendly environment by staff who understand individual needs and preferences.
We offer regular salon appointments, and residents are welcome to book as often as they feel comfortable. Some prefer a weekly tidy-up, while others may come along less frequently – it’s completely up to them.
We plan to open the new salon in August 2025 so watch this space.
