Someone's overall
wellbeing is unique
to them

As with all areas of care, someone’s overall wellbeing is unique to them. We consider their physical. psychological and social needs and offer choice and variety for our residents.

Daily group &
individual activities

Our activities programme has been created to ensure our residents can participate daily in group activities such as singing, bingo, baking, games, and crafts. Staying active is a crucial part of everyone’s wellbeing, as part of each individual care plan. We’ll assess which activities residents can and should take part in.

We also ensure no one is ever left out – if a resident cannot take part in a group activity, we’ll take the activity to them and complete it on a one-to-one basis.

Wellbeing

Wellbeing covers a wide range of needs from medical care to engaging activities, support with confidence, self-esteem, reduced feelings of anxiety and a sense of calm. Our variety of therapies from the activities programme to the salon, food choices, places to unwind with a book or enjoy the arts all offer different routes to support overall wellbeing.

Meals & Nutrition

Our in-home chefs ensure everybody receives the choices they need, focussing on nutritional balanced options. With a core focus on independence we encourage residents to choose their own food and eat independently, but where this isn’t possible our team are here to ensure everyone is well-fed.

All nutritional intake is logged to ensure everyone receives the sustenance they need. We adapt food for individuals’ needs, for example for someone with diabetes, for someone living with dementia who prefers finger food, or for people who require their meals to be non-solid.
